I think a little introduction about needed stuff before actual bra sewing is in order. There are some requirements to be able to sew stretch fabric.
I made these blue velvet pants back in April. In the meantime I got obsessed with bra pattern making.
Last pieces to cut are from interface fabric.
Moving on to lace. These are the bra parts I have to cut from it.
Moving on to cutting foam for cups. These are the pattern pieces: F1, F2, F3.
Because there are many pieces in one bra, cutting them all is a bit tedious job. I’ve split the cutting chapter in several small posts. This one will prepare you for cutting all bra pieces.
First of all, decide what is your bra main fabric. My entire bra will be made of this stretch beige lace. But we need other materials as well.
