There are three steps to determine and choose your pattern size for tops, shirts and dresses. First step is to take your measurements.
Every sewing pattern company uses its own method for drawing patterns. Please, see bellow how to take body measurements that are used in my patterns.
Elastics stretch amount means how much that elastic can stretch. Sewing patterns that use elastics must specify the stretch amount for them.
Stretch factor for fabric means how much the fabric stretches. Stretch factor is measured on DOGS and grain-line.
