How to assemble pattern pages

After you have printed pages for a pattern you need to inspect the pieces.
Sometimes some pieces do not fit on one page. And this is when you are required to assemble the pattern.

How to check if some pieces or pages need taping

On our current patterns, there are 2 possible cases when one pattern piece has to be assembled.

Case 1

When there are clear markings on the pages close to some edges of some pieces. For instance, the Afi Exquisite bra pattern has the sling piece split into 2 parts. This is when you cut then tape parts of the pieces together.

Case 2

When the piece has no clear markings and is at the edge(s) of the paper and you can’t see the entire piece. For instance here is a Maya bra in size EU90D / UK40D / US40D that has C1 and F1 pieces split onto two pages. This is when you tape pages together.

No split pieces

If all the pages that you printed have no pieces/pages that need taping, you have nothing further to do.

Do NOT overlap, just bring the pages close to each other and tape them together.

It is OK if there are blank margins on each page. That’s because printers are not allowed to print right on the edge. But the pattern is there. Do NOT trim the margins. If you want, you can draw and connect the lines.
